A little info on my prints....
I started offering my prints as limited editions after I received a few requests for prints.  Due to success and demand, I have automated the process , and offer most prints on my site for sale.

Black and White Prints
All black and white prints are either 2 1/4 negatives, or 35mm film.  The entire developing/printing process is done by me, the photographer in my own darkroom. I develop the film (usually Ilford, some Efke) and produce the prints (Almost all Ilford Glossy). Black and white prints never leave my possession until they are shipped.

Color Prints
All Color prints are shot with digital at 6.3 megapixels. I use the same high quality lab for all prints to ensure consistency and quality.

What in the World is a Split Negative??? (11x14split, 16x20split etc)
This is the ultimate in limited editions and is meant for the most serious of collectors

After developing film, I make contact sheets.

From the contact, I select a negative for the split printing.

I print 1 8x10 proof for my use
I then print a total of 5 of the print as a finish item either as 11x14, or 16x20 on fiber based paper

After printing I cut the negative into fourths!
1 print is kept for me, and possibly for later sale the total edition is 5

The  4 prints are sold with 1/4 of the negative!!!!

That's right, you buy the print, you get 1/4 of the negative. Each of the 4 prints sold will receive 1/4 of the negative. This ensures that the print will never show up in another printing, another size edition EVER

Print Legend:

For Black and White Prints:
Paper Type: All paper is Silver Gelatin,  Two types are offered.
FB=Fiber Based. This paper is the traditional medium of black and white photography. Great care is taken in the processing to ensure a long lasting print.

RC=Resin Coated. This Paper type is easier to process, and has been around for decades. Although paper manufacturers state that it has long lasting properties like FB paper, most serious collectors prefer FB over RC.

Color Prints
Color prints are produced by a quality photo lab, on true photo paper of archival quality.

Paper Sizes
8x10, 11x14, 16x20 . Paper size in inches

Shipping
All Black and white prints are shipped in flat containers. Sandwiched firmly and securely. Color 16x20 prints may ship in a tube, as they arrive from the printer. They can be easily pressed flat.

1/50, 9/10, etc
The bottom number denotes the  total number of prints in the edition for the paper size, and type.  The top number is the print number that is available. so if the number reads 9/10 there are a total of 10 prints of this available. 8 have been sold, or are off hanging in a gallery somewhere, waiting to be sold. The print that is available is 9 of the edition. A total of 2 prints are available.
After that, the series is closed, and no further prints of that size/paper are made of that negative.
